Hi ,
Iam new to Websphere Application server(WAS). Iam trying to deploy a WAR file(J2EE Application) on to the server. In the WAS Admin console When i provide the details like path of war file, context name and press NEXT, I am getting a Exception like

The EAR file might be corrupt or incomplete.

org.eclipse.jst.j2ee.commonarchivecore.internal.exception.DeploymentDescriptorLoadException: WEB-INF/web.xml

Iam using WAS version 6.1.0.0

Can any one please provide the solution for it ASAP ...

Thanks in Advance ...

There is an option to deploy an ear, or a war. Are you choosing to deploy an ear, and then providing a war file?

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
