I have a application developed under WSAD 5.1/JDK 1.3. Once I check out the application into RAD 7.0 , I can build it easily but can't deploy it. i.e when I start the websphere app sever 6.1 within RAD 7.0,

Please make sure that I am upgrading Developement env from WSAD 5.1 to RAD 7.0. I want to make my application run finein RAD 7.0 which is originaly developed in WSAD.

Thanks in advance

I migrated some projects from WSAD to RAD 7 this summer and experienced a lot of problems. Almost none of had a straightforward solution.

However, the most important thing is to keep your software up-to-date. I.e have you updated your software to the latest version? Also, depending on which Test environment you are running on I might suggest that you update the testserver with fixpacks as well. I.e check this page for WAS 5.1.1 fixes.

Forgive me for pointing this out if you've already done this.

Anyway, if it still doesn't work I suggest you look closer at your settings in your ear project (ibm-application-bnd.xmi first of all) and compare these settings to your old ones in WSAD.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
