simple client to call EAR running in WAS server

Is it possible to invoke normal java client to my application (test.EAR) is running in WAS server ? I am getting communication exception. Please provide some sample client to invoke ejb is running in was server.

When you say Java client, do you mean a stand-alone Java application, like a swing or awt product? If so, they must run inside a J2EE client container provided by WebSphere. They can't run in a normal SDK JVM. It's provided by IBM.

If you mean a Java client such as a servlet, especially if it's running in the same EAR, it should be a normal lookup, such as the code below:
