Session Management - Serialization

I have one value object class wherein I am using FormFile of Struts for uploading the file.We are using RBActionForm for session management.

1) Do we need to serialize the file FormFile as it is imported from struts?Do we need to subclass it and implement serilizable?

2) Do we need to serialize RBActionForm as its parent class ActionForm is serialized by Struts?

public class RBActionForm extends ActionForm
{
...
....
......
}
public class ProjCostForm extends RBActionForm ;
{

.....
.....
.......
/ /Attrbutes for file uploading
private FormFile file;
int fileSeqNo;

}

abstract public interfaceorg.apache.struts.upload.FormFile extends java.lang.Object
{

}

Thanks,

Maybe a missing semi-colon?

can you please explain what is that missing semicolon?I just want to understand the serialization concept for session management where FormFile used for uploading the files.Do I need to serialize this file after subclassing it as it is not being serialized by Struts?FormFile is of Struts.

Thanks..
