For people who worked with websphere before in a company, is it more common to see people use IDE that came with websphere or something like eclipse?

What is the most common IDE came with websphere? WSAD? I found Rational Application Developer at IBM site is that related product?

RAD (Ratrional Application Developer) & RSA (Rational Software Architect) are the standard ones. Both are built on top of eclipse. I think WSAD has been superseded by RAD & RSA.

Arulk is correct. RAD/RSA 6 was the next version of WSAD 5. IBM likes to rename things.

RAD/RSA 7.5 just came out so you'd want to use that if just getting started.

Also myEclipse with WAS plugin. Probably the best value for money if you don't IBM Process Server or Portal extensions.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
