Hi,
i have installed the complete package of jdeveloper which has tthe jdk in it.i have under the directory /u/myID/Jdeveloper/jdk where Jdeveloper is the place i unzipped or installed the product.so in the jdev confid i gave
SetJavaHome /u/myID/Jdeveloper/jdk - but it still gives me this error

Please specify correct java home in the configuration file

Your 'jdev.conf' is in DOS format you need to convert it to UNIX - or you have to go the file through and remove '^M' from each line.
