Hello All,

I have worked on orcale in my previous projects. But in my current project there is no oracle at all.
I have passed iZ0-007 exam.
I want to appear for exam IZ0-147. How difficult it is to prepare for this exam, especially if I am not currently working on oracle.and how many months should I give for preparation. Any suggestions as to how to practice with orcale esp packages, triggers etc.

Any pointers highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Trupti

since you have already worked in oracle it shouldn't be a daunting task. It should be easy. Exam preparations should not take more than two months but it also depends on individual stuffs.

I'm also planning to write it soon. Can any one tell a good book for preparing the same.

Hi Srinivasa,
I think that you know which oracle certification suits me after you would hear my story.
My development direction is Java programmer, but some database knowledge is needed, such as trigger, store procedure and some complex SQL.
Thank you.

Hi Pan,
In that case you may take 007 & 147 exams. That covers SQL & PL/Sql.

I studied only "Introduction to Oracle 9i Sql" , oracle press book thats it . It's a very good book to read.
