hello.m new to oracle would like to learn about oracle enterprise manager grid control.but don't know which book to purchase.
i bought a book oracle administration it was my disappointment because only found theory there and with rare examples, bought another book oracle 11 it was also a disappointment.

also i don't want to read from screen otherwise i could go to oracle website.
i would like to get a illustrated book to teach me how to manage data base in grid control or things like that not just theory.for me doesn't matter if 10g or the new 11g.

can somebody give a name of a very illustrated good book oracle 10g or 11g for beginners?or a book that teaches all oracle 10g with exemples?

Hi,
Oracle provides essential documentation for its products, If you want to begin any of oracle's products (Enterprise Manager, Database, Jdeveloper...) you can take a look at OBE or Oracle By Example series at:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/index.html

For Oracle Database there is another document which can help you getting started, Its name is 2 Days DBA: http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/2day_dba/index.html

All the books by Tom Kyte are an excellent starting point, e.g.

Expert Oracle Database Architecture: Oracle Database 9i, 10g, and 11g Programming Techniques and Solutions
