Say I have a servlet called mytest in
<tomcat_path>\webapps\examples\web-inf\classes\
which send a applet to the client, with the code
----------------------------------------------------------
out.println("<Applet code=myapplet.class archive=myapplet.jar ...
----------------------------------------------------------
Then in which directory should I put myapplet.jar
