I'm having trouble getting Tomcat to use the Oracle thin drivers in the file.
I copied the file to the lib\container directory but when I run my servet I get the following error:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/jdbc/driver/OracleDriver
at cmedia.queries.JDBC.connectTODatabase(
at cmedia.ui.pages.BasePage.connectToDB(
at cmedia.ui.pages.BasePage.(
at cmedia.ui.pages.HomePage.(
at cmedia.servlets.Home.doPost(
at cmedia.servlets.Home.doGet(
at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(
at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(
at org.apache.tomcat.facade.ServletHandler.doService(Unknown Source)
at org.apache.tomcat.core.Handler.invoke(Unknown Source)
at org.apache.tomcat.core.Handler.service(Unknown Source)
at org.apache.tomcat.facade.ServletHandler.service(Unknown Source)
at org.apache.tomcat.core.ContextManager.internalService(Unknown Source)
at org.apache.tomcat.core.ContextManager.service(Unknown Source)
at org.apache.tomcat.modules.server.Http10Interceptor.processConnection(Unknown Source)
at Source)
at org.apache.tomcat.util.threads.ThreadPool$ Source)
How do I get 3.3 to recognize the file?
When I run my app under 3.2.1 the Oracle Drivers are fine.

I haven't tried this, so I'm not sure if it will work.

But try renaming to classes12.jar

Just using the Windows renaming command is fine, you don't need to unzip and use the 'jar' utility.
