Hi,
I'm having trouble getting Tomcat to use the Oracle thin drivers in the classes12.zip file.
I copied the classes12.zip file to the lib\container directory but when I run my servet I get the following error:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/jdbc/driver/OracleDriver

How do I get 3.3 to recognize the classes12.zip file?
When I run my app under 3.2.1 the Oracle Drivers are fine.

I haven't tried this, so I'm not sure if it will work.

But try renaming classes12.zip to classes12.jar

Just using the Windows renaming command is fine, you don't need to unzip and use the 'jar' utility.

Thanks, that worked like a charm.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
