Problem with transfer of code From Jrun - Tomcat

hi to all
i ve created chat appl. in jsp on jrun server.
when the same code is put on Apache/Tomcat server it started throwing errors for the useBean tags sometime. Also it is working too slow. also Apache/Tomcat takes 15 mins to restart
can anyone pls. tell me what it the reason behind this.
and why people using apache/tomcat if fast and secure servers like jrun r existing
