Sorry guys I'm not quite out od the woods just yet. I'm having difficulties compiling a HelloWorld servlet. I have the following directories for tomcat and jdk as follows: tomcat: C:\tomcat jdk: C:\jdk1.3.1_02 And I have a classpath variable set to: .;C:\mike;C:\tomcat\common\lib\servlet.jar%CLASSPATH% And a path variable set to: %SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem; .;C:\jdk1.3.1_02\bin;C:\tomcat\common\lib\servlet.jar%Path% When I compile it says it can't resolve symbol for anything servlet or fttp related. I've copied the serlvet.jar into my jdk. I've tried all sorts of combinations of things all resulting in the same error. I've tried a simple Test.java program that works fine. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.
