When Tomcat is started in Windows a DOS window is available in which one can view any debugging System.out.println() statements and update times after compilation.
Is there any way to get this funtionality using runide.sh in Linux (I'm using RedHat 7.2).
Thanks
Bob

Sorry, I meant when you run the startup.sh script the command line does not display any debugging information from System.out.println().
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
