Socket Error

I have downloaded the newest version of Tomcat yet when I try to run the sample jsp's I get a socket error - connection refused. the address I am using is http://localhost:8080/..samples.jsp.... What am I doing wrong?

Hi loneill -
Two things:
First, please have a look at the Java Ranch Name Policy.
Second, all the periods in the url you passed in would definitely be throwing things off for you.
