Has anyone had success doing this?
I'm able to compile mod_jk.so after modifying a few things (one of the source files needed an extra include file, and had to modify jk/native/build.xml to include the JAVA_HOME/include/solaris directory path), but Apache's got a problem with it, giving the error message:
Syntax error on line 232 of /project/auth001/lynchs/apache2/conf/httpd.conf:
Can't locate API module structure `mod_jk' in file /project/auth001/lynchs/apache2/modules/mod_jk.so: ld.so.1: /project/auth001/lynchs/apache2/bin/httpd: fatal: mod_jk: can't find symbol

I'm guessing that those doing JSP/servlet development on Solaris are using commercial JSP/servlet containers?
