Remote war deployment to tomcat

I need to deploy a war file from my workstation (others will do this to) to the server that is running tomcat. What is the easiest way to deploy remotely? It is being done quite often as we are testing right now and stop/delete/copy/start is getting quite tedious. I looked in into the ant tasks (install/remove/deploy/undeploy) but they seem to deploy the application under the work folder and not webapps...and do not unpack all the contents of the war. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thx in advance.
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link:
