Trying to run Tomcat

jakarta-tomcat-4.1.12, trying to start it up and I get this message: Windows cannot find '-Djava.endorsed.dirs='.

This is probably a JAVA_HOME issue. Ensure it is set properly, and that it contains no spaces. (if you have tomcat under Program Files, then make it Progra~1, or re-install it in a path without spaces.

It also wouldn't hurt to ensure you have CATALINA_HOME set properly.
