jsp forward tag not working in Tomcat 4.1.12

Hi I am using Tomcat 4.1.12 and I am getting the following error. I have used the same tag in 3.2.3 before and it was working fine. Does any one have any clue abt this .

You are closing your tag with the />. This should be a compiler error though. But at least fix that and see if it solves your problem. (should be just a > )

Thanks for the reply .If i use
<jsp:forward page="test.jsp" >
it works fine now. But I had problems with this in Tomcat 3.2.3 , It worked only if i use it as
<jsp:forward page="test.jsp" />.
Any way It works fine now in 4.1.12.
