hi folks,
new to mysql and tomcat. trying to find some tutorial on it. found code examples like the following:

the part that i don't seem to understand is this:
where is the "java:comp/env" set up? could anyone please educate me on it? i would appreciate if you could provide me some sites or examples that takes me through configuring tomcat and mysql.i would like to get database connection exactly as shown above not using "forClass".
