I'm wondering if I should learn any of these. This is the closest match I could find to a forum to ask in.

Hmm. Until we get an "Other Languages" forum, this might have been better asked in "Jobs Discussion", which tends to cover issues of which skills are more saleable.
However, it all depends what sort of work you want to do. Perl and PHP skills are good for web-site maintenance work, Python is a nicer language, but a bit of a niche market. Anyone who uses the Zope web site framework will be crying out for Python programmers, though ...

PHP is similar to JSP. It has a nice interface with MySQL. I learned it just for the hell of it and so should you!
Perl is always useful and every web developer should know a little Perl.

Yeah web development is what I like best. I have seen people at elance say they can do something very quickly in Perl. I just got mySQL but havent tried it yet. Maybe I will take a little time to learn basics of them. Do you know if Apache supports them? How does that work? Are all three server-side scripting languages? Well I should just do a little surfing and find out I suppose
