Problem with Tomcat 4.1.27 jars and classes

I have installed tomcat 4 and it works fine, but when I add my classes under one of my applications under the /WEB-INF folder and try to restart tomcat it will not restart and it will give me the message below, the same thing happens if I copy a jar file to the $JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/ext directory, I need to do this so every application in tomcat can use that jar file.
I really hope you guys can help me, this is driving me insane, besides the fact that I need to launch this webserver within the next few days.
Thanks everyone for any help!
