Hi all,
I have put the following code in web.xml file of my application.
<context-param>
<param-name>name</param-name>
<param-value>somename</param-value>
</context-param>
I restarted the server but i am getting null for application variable "name".JSP code is given below
out.println(application.getAttribute("name"));//getting as null value

Help me please...
Regards
Vasu

I think that you should be using
getInitParameter( name )
to get values from a context-param.
