When I deploy application to the client, should I also deploy Tomcat server with my project?. If yes, if Tomcat free to ship I mean what are term & condition for Tomcat License? If tomcat is not free, does client buy themselves and should I have to pay and ship to the client?
Thanks,
Angela

Really, it's not that hard to find out this information on Apache's site.

http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE

And no, I wouldn't recommend distributing Tomcat with your application. If your application is well packaged and complies with the servlet spec, then *any* server should run it, not just Tomcat.

Provide installation and setup instructions for *using* tomcat if you want, but why include it with your distribution?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
