Hello,
Im fed up with WinXP, so I want to program JSP in Linux. What do I need to install TomCat in this O.S.? Afterwards is the same way to program JSP in WinXP and Linux? Do I only need to set TomCat up in file server.xml? How do I do that?
Thanks in advance!!!

What you will need is the appropriate SDK - version 1.4 is good. Download the version specific for Linux and try the examples to make sure it is working. You should be able to unpack the standard Tomcat binary distribution and get it working stand-alone with no changes.
It only gets complicated if you want to use the Apache web server and configure Tomcat to handle the servlets - that can get complicated.
