Variable usage in 'workers2.properties' file!

Hello,

I am trying to link Apache2 + Tomcat5, where i need to create 'workers2.properties' file. In the properties file i need to do some settings like, to set the file variable.
====================
[shm]

file=c:\apache2/logs/shm.file

size=1048576
=====================

but in the environment variable settings, i have already set the APACHE_HOME to c:\Apache2, so can i rewrite the above assignment as shown below:
================
file=$(APACHE_HOME])/logs/shm.file
================

Is there any other ways of using the environmental variables within the *.properties files?

For you information, i am using W2K.

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,<br /> <br />vanchin
