Hi I was doing some sample codes in tomcat

And At one stagewhen I restarted my server
I am getting an error thrown as this

SEVERE: Parse Error at line 36 column 11: The content of element type "web-app"
must match "(icon?,display-name?,description?,distributable?,context-param*,filt
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The content of element type "web-app" must match
at org.apache.xerces.util.ErrorHandlerWrapper.createSAXParseException(Un
known Source)
INFO: Jk running ID=0 time=0/31 config=C:\Tomcat 4.1\conf\

But I am able to see the index page of tomcat
Which file has got corrupted in this case in tomcat

The problem seems to be with your web.xml file..check for the DTD of this file..

when u write web.xml there should be proper order of the tags uw rite mean to that what u wrote is not matching with the dtd in the url .....look at the order shown in the error and change ur web.xml accordingly
