I am authenticating user in web application using ldap.
My doubt is:
Let i want a user: user1 password: pass1 to authenticate.
So i define the role in web.xml. But before searching this user in ldap directory when tomcat connects to ldap it must be authorized to use ldap. But i am no where specifying the root password of ldap (using openldap).
Without this how ldap allows tomcat to search in the directory

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
