Hello, I need to dwnload tomcat5 from jakarta site. But there are plenty of things which I couldnt figureout.
1)Do I have to dwnld binaries or source codes. 2)what are the following instructions about dwnlding binaries .(If im dwnlding binaries.)
" We recommend you use a mirror to download our release builds, but you must verify the integrity of the downloaded files using signatures downloaded from our main distribution directories. The KEYS link next to the product links to the code signing keys used to sign the product. The PGP link downloads the OpenPGP compatible signature from our main site and the MD5 downloads the checksum also from the main site."
what are these stuff??? Pls some one guide me on this.whts the esiest way to dwnld tomcat5 for use in web applications.
1) binaries. unless of course, you're interested in compiling your own tomcat. But why bother? 2) PGP signatures allow you to confirm that a download has not been either corrupted or intentionally altered in some nefarious way. You can probably ignore this.
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
