The JSP page is compiled by tomcat when it runs it. So if you have a page test.jsp

When u call that page in your browser it will compile it automatically:

Drop your page into C:\jakarta-tomcat-4.1.12\webapps\yourwebapp

say test.jsp

call http://localhost:8080/yourwebapp/test.jsp. it will complie and dispay your page or output any complilation errors.

Have you checked out Aspose?
