Could someone provide an example of using a datasource with connection pooling? I've got the datasource set up correctly and is working fine but I need to use connection pooling and have no idea of where to begin.

I'm new to the Java/Tomcat world and but connection pooling seems pretty common. Examples...please..

Thanks,
Dave

so what you have is a non-pooled DataSource ?

Have you tried the example in Tomcat docs ?

http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-4.1-doc/jndi-datasource-examples-howto.html

The section entitled 'Database Connection Pool (DBCP) Configurations' will be of particular interest to you.
