Tomcat & IIS both down. Oh my...

It all started with a reformat and reinstallation of Windows.

After that my Tomcat & IIS can't work.

For Tomcat, the error box says that connection was refused.
For IIS, it was "Server Application Error
The server has encountered an error while loading an application during the processing of your request. Please refer to the event log for more detail information. Please contact the server administrator for assistance."

Anyone has this error before?

(meanwhile I think I should plow through MS's site......)

Which Windows, which Tomcat, was Tomcat installed as a service, does your tomcat work at all (port 8080)???

I'm using WindowsXP. And previously it was Tomcat 5.5 (which didn't work).

Anyway, I've switched back to version Tomcat 5.027 and it works fine now.
