This week we're delighted to have Budi Kurniawan and Paul Deck amongst us, helping to answer questions in the Apache/Tomcat forum.
We'll be selecting four random posters in this forum to win a free copy of their book, "How Tomcat Works", provided by the publisher, BrainySoftware.com.
I am using Apache Tomcat/4.1.12-LE-jdk14 that was installed on SunOS. I could not find httpd.conf file under $CATALINA_HOME/conf directory. Where else can it be? Will Apache Tomcat work without httpd.conf?
Thanks in advance, Zheng Huang

In his review of "How Tomcat Works," JavaRanch bartender, Balaji Loganathan, rates the book 9 out of 10 horseshoes! [ September 15, 2004: Message edited by: Dirk Schreckmann ]

Hello,
Thats great rating. But I would have given it 10 out of 10 horses for the excellent work. Cheers for the great job.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
