tomcat-users.xml wiped out

Upon a server crash, Tomcat would not startup with the restart of the server. Turns out the tomcat-users.xml file got wiped out (the timestamp on that file is the same as the timestamp on the reboot). This is running on AIX. Any thoughts on why this might have happened?

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
