2-way SSL only works with MemoryRealm

I can only get it to work, if I use the old

<Realm className="org.apache.catalina.realm.MemoryRealm" />

Whereas the "new" one based on JNDI, has to left out:

<Realm className="org.apache.catalina.realm.UserDatabaseRealm"
debug="0" resourceName="UserDatabase"/>

Am I doing something basicly wrong or is that part of the Tomcat Implementation never get used :-), so that the bug gets fixed?
