I am trying to make apache and tomcat to talk to each other . I am using SSL. Please suggest what I need to do.

Thanks in advance

You'll need to install the JK connector on the Apache httpd side and have it forward to Tomcat. You didn't say if you meant SSL between httpd and tomcat or just in front of httpd. I use SSL in from of httpd and then don't allow direct access to Tomcat.
