port 8080 to 80

Hello
Currently my web server is responding at port 8080 and wondering where to change it to port 80.

I already have an application running on jboss responding to http://xx:8080/app. I tried changing port number in server.xml file but now my app is not responding though http://xx is responding with default page.

where else do I have to change port numbers.. like web.xml of the specific app ??

Hi !

You should try adapting "JAVA_OPTS" variable for "address=..." option in "JBOSS_HOME/bin/run.bat" :

rem set JAVA_OPTS=-classic -Xdebug -Xnoagent -Djava.compiler=NONE -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=8787,server=y,suspend=y %JAVA_OPTS%

The address= is 8787 not 8080.. could you explain how changin it to 80 would help ?

I guess you are refering to server.xml file and my app is not listed in the codebase ?!! there is root and examples... but my app is not listed.
