please help me to run the tomcat with struts applications

I would suspect some sort of error in your web.xml rather than a problem with servlet.jar. What have you changed recently?
Which version of Tomcat?
Which version of Java?
Which operating system?
Is this supposed to be a standalone Tomcat or is it supposed to work with a separate web server? (Apache?IIS?)
