No Context configured to process this request

Hi,

I am a beginner in using tomcat, I have created a war file for my application and when I try to deploy it using Tomcat it gave me No Context configured to process this request error,can anyone help me in this regard

Can you describe how you built your war file for us? The nesting of elements is important.

If you like, you can try downloading some of the war files from: http://simple.souther.us. Drop one into your webapps directory and run it.
If those work, then you know that Tomcat is OK. You can then look at the structure of them and compare with what yours looks like to find the problem.
