i have my directory path of tomcat as.....
c:\program file\apache group\tomcat 4.1\

now how to set up with the path like where to set web-inf etc and what to do after that..

This is all covered in Tomcat's documentation, so all anyone can do to answer this is repeat what's there. Please try to follow the docs first, then feel free to post any problems you encounter and people will probably help.
