Tomcat 5 Hosts

Heya peoples,
I'm having a major headache with tomcat 5. I've been trying to read the tomcat 5 docs but am not getting anywhere. All the other resources on google seem to be for the wrong versions of tomcat or not doing what I want.

I'm wanting to use the <Host> tag to have multiple domains running on the single tomcat, and I want them all to have different document roots on the server like /home/domain.com/tomcat for their JSPs and servlets. I'm actually integrating with apache, but I'm pretty sure I've got that end sussed and all the requests get forwarded to tomcat where they promptly die on their feet.

Now originally what I thought I could do was put a single file for each host in TOMCAT_HOME/conf/Catalina/localhost/ but now I am thinking that you can only have context's in that dir and that hosts need to go in server.xml ?

Could anyone perchance give me an example of a host tag in use in a tomcat 5 config? all the stuff I find on the web seems to be for tomcat 4 and the syntax seems to be different

any help much appreciated.
