HI!,
I am using Tomcat 5. I want to fine tune Tomcat for better performance and scalability. I know how to disable servlet reloading. I want to do things like configure thread pool, disable logging and fine tune the JVM etc. for better performance. How can I implement that. What are the other techniques for performance enhancement?

There are lots of such info in Tomcat's documentation and even as comments in configuration files. Have you tried Google?

I found that the Wrox book "Professional Apache Tomcat 5" is full of helpful suggestions on configuration and tuning.
