Hi all,
when i start tomcat i get the foloowing error. Guide me how to rectify it.
The JAVA_HOME environment variable is not defined correctly
This environment variable is needed to run this program
NB: JAVA_HOME should point to a JDK not a JRE
Using CATALINA_BASE: C:\jakarta-tomcat-4.1.31\
Using CATALINA_HOME: C:\jakarta-tomcat-4.1.31\
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: C:\jakarta-tomcat-4.1.31\\temp
Using JAVA_HOME: C:\j2sdk1.4.0\bin\
The system cannot find the file

What should the JAVA_HOME variable shoud have ?

Thanks & regards, Srini
