Just to get my facts right. Am i right to say that the manager is more of a hindarance than help in a development environment?

I say this because while developing using eclipse i won't want to use the manager to deploy or redeploy my war files. I want to do it the old way: deploy to webapps and its hot deployed.

I find the manager app to be very helpful, especially when combined with ANT.
