With tomcat 5.0-28, how do I make http://domain/index.jsp point to something other than $TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/ROOT/index.jsp?

Actually, at this point... and I suspect something maybe corrupted... I'd be happy if I could just replace replace $TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/ROOT/index.jsp. I've moved the appbase, replaced the file, deleted the file, changed the file, done anything I can think of and all that comes up is the original, unaltered tomcat page... all I've been able to accomplish is breaking the images by deleting them.

I've successfully moved the admin and manager apps, I use ant to load my apps to the dirnames I want, when I put test JSPs in the ROOT directory of the altered appbase.

Any advise would be appreciated,

Jimbus

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
