Hi,

How can I get the time difference when the request was received by the server and when the server delivered the request back to the client? Apache server logs the time the request was delivered to the client.

How do I measure this response time? Please let me know if there is any tool available (which can be installed on SOLARIS) to do the above task?

I cud find a tool which works only on LINUX and not on SOLARIS while searching for the same under http://www.trickytools.com/benchmark-2.0/doc/intro.html

Thanks in advance,
Sreeni.

Hi
you could use Opn source stuff like
Jmeter , or commerical Load test suit like AppDev or Load runner.
There is a plugin for Eclipse Named TPTP
It could be helpfull if you want to test your server response specs.

I should menthion that TPTP works on Solaris too
you can find it here
http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/index.html
