Apache Http server - log permissions

Hello,

I am working on a reporting mechanism that uses the apache http server access logs. For this I have added the following lines in the httpd.conf

The problem I am facing is that the logs are getting created with "root" permissions. I need to delete these logs after getting the reports ready.
Can you please give me any suggestions on how to go about this?

(I hope I am posting the message in the appropriate forum)

Thanks and Regards
Vijay

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
