ive had it! this is insane! now tomcat wont start. and i made no changes at all.

i give up...i have spent an entire week trying to just move to new machine. when i almost have it working now tomcat wont even start. i could have rewritten the entire thing from scratch in less time...well no i lie but i am just so upset by all this crap

ok it got set to manual all on its own...i reset it to automatic and rebooted..now it says it is running but the icon is gone from sytray and it is not working

i give up this is impossible

ok i made a mistake..when i changed folder name to examples to try to work around the fact the compiler cant find javax.servlet and it didnt work i changed it back to Root instead of ROOT...but the icon is still missing from systray, and of course i still cant recompile my servlets..see this post
