Error in tomcat 5.5

hi,

I have a web application which is working fine in tomcat 4.1 using jdk 1.4 . But due to out of memory errors which were coming i decided to upgrade to tomcat 5.5 . But when i ported to tomcat5.5 i get the following error .

i am still using jdk1.4 not 1.5 , and i have used the jar files in the compact.zip which is given in the tomcat site. Rest all example are working fine only when i activate my application i get this error

My configuration is windows 2000 prof., jdk1.4,tomcat5.5


Can anyone have any idea abt it

And have you got the javax.mail package on classpath?

Tomcat ignores the environment Classpath - it has its own rules for locating libraries - see the class-loader-howto.html file under webapps/tomcat-docs of a typical installation.
I have mailapi.jar under CATALINA_HOME/common/lib

Oops! I meant Tomcat classpath.
Working with web apps mostly, I dont even think about the System classpath anymore, and it slipped my mind that this could be ambiguous.
