Hi all

when we use "system.out.println" it gives output on console,
which file is this ?
I want to tail this file on developers m/c so that they can see output on their m/c

is it catalina.out if yes i am not able to find it on system running tomcat

pls help

That file usually is in a directory called "log" or "logs" in the main Tomcat directory.

I am aware that "catalina.out" should be in "logs" Directory

but actually its not and i am unable on my hard-drive anywhere.
will there be some other setting?
should i provide you with any other information?

The name of the file will vary according to the version and method of installation. It will always be in the TOMCAT_INSTALLATION/logs directory.
