I trying to restrict the access to my application with the Remote Address valve. When I enter two comma seperated ip adresses to the allow list I get this error:

Allow is invalid. Need to include the admin's IP address.

I tried to enter it with the admin application. I use tomcat version 5.5.9

I've not done this through the admin console but the error seems to tell you what is going on - the machine on which you're running the browser to access the admin console must be on the "allowed" list too. If it is all on the same machine it might be or the primary IP address of your machine.
